An excellent start for the farm Maglica in Buje, which has proposed a really interesting product to our panel. This result is due to its founder, Livio Maglica, who has been running this beautiful farm since 2000. The estate consists of a 2-hectare olive surface with 500 trees of local varieties. In the last harvest 38 quintals of olives produced 5 hectolitres of extra virgin olive oil. We recommend the farm selection, the Extra Virgin Maglica from Organic Farming, which is an intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight gren hues. Its aroma is ample and elegant, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke and chicory, together with intense aromatic notes of mint. Its taste is complex and strong, with a flavour of country vegetables, lettuce and a spicy note of black pepper and almond. Bitterness and pungency are definite and distinct. It would be ideal on salmon appetizers, legume salads, marinated perch, tomatoes stuffed with rice, chanterelle mushroom soups, pasta with vegetables, barbecued fish, grilled turbot, baked poultry or lamb, goat cheese.
