- Excellent
A restaurant operator and a winemaker, Marino Markežić, has succeeded in turning a small village Kremenje in the vicinity of Momjan in the north of Istria, into a high-ranking destination marked on the enological and gastronomical map of Istria, as well as on the map of Croatia. Renowned in the first place for excellent cuisine specialities based on the truffle, Marino has enriched his offer with an assortment of fine wines recently produced under the brand name of Kabola. His most recent award was a gold medal for the Momjan Muscat won at the Istrian regional wine show-Vinistra 2004. Apart from Malvasia, his very delicate gray Pinot is also worth mentioning here.
